2024, 2025, 2026: Schnitt Akademie, Online Kompaktkurs (Grading)

This course explores the extensive capabilities of DaVinci Resolve and their application to a wide range of projects and challenges. Led by professional colorists, participants learn the full process - from source material to finished product - through practical examples. This includes planning, organization, look development, color grading, and final mastering. The course culminates in participants applying their newly acquired skills to a practice project. I appeared as a guest lecturer during the one-week Look Development module.

SEP 2023: Private 2 Day Workshop, Basics of Grading and Workflow Assestment

This two-day, in-house workshop focused on a tailored assessment of facilities, core grading theory and fundamentals, as well as tools, techniques, and strategies designed to support the specific workflows of the in-house content production team.

FEB, APR & AUG 2022: 25p Classes, Color Grading

This two-day workshop offered a deep dive into color grading, led by experts Susi Dollnig and Benjamin Packer. Participants learned color theory, reviewed grading examples, and gained insight into professional grading workflows. Hands-on sessions using DaVinci Resolve Studio and high-quality reference monitors allowed attendees to set up projects, develop grades, and explore tools and scopes.

Jul 2019: DFFB, UP.GRADE Short Courses

This five-day course explored the design and power of software-agnostic grading operators, aimed at elevating technical knowledge and creative toolsets. Featured instructors included Dirk Meier, Paul Dore, Edmond Laccon, Peter Doyle, with myself appearing as a guest lecturer.
